National General Strike Friday, May 1
— No Work, No School, No Shopping —
— Rally at Noon at the Camden Village Green and Rockland’s Chapman Park
WHY
A coalition of over 200 organizations, including MoveOn, Indivisible, the National Education Association has endorsed a General Strike on May Day 2026 (Friday, May 1 2026). The idea of a general strike — no work, no school, no shopping — is for us to flex our collective power as workers, students, consumers, and everyday people to send a clear message to the Trump regime: we will not do business as usual while they trample our rights, terrorize our communities, and drag us into a senseless war in Iran.

- All day: No Work, No School, No Shopping
- Noon – 1 PM: Gather at Camden’s Village Green and Rockland’s Chapman Park to make our loud, nonviolent presence known
